Back then I always see mentorship as a suckers problem, I don't do no mentors when i want to start or do something, I just go ahead and do it, no guidance or anything I'll say to myself I'll learn on the job.

But it rarely works, and I'll mostly quit before I even get the hang of it, mentors are like angels they don't stay in your way they guide you and offer you their experience on a platter, there are things that I started back then, I won't even try to do them again without investing significantly in mentorship.
