The Importance Of Life Insurance For Women

The average life expectancy of a woman today is about 81 years old. That means that for most women, the time between when they are born and when they die is less than three decades long.

In addition to the fact that there is so much potential for change in this short period of time, many people don't realize how important it is to have life insurance coverage. Here are two reasons why:

1. You may have plans to leave your job or start going back to school and if you do, you'll need money set aside for retirement or education. Having this type of coverage will help ensure that you can keep paying off debts and saving for those things if something were to happen like a serious illness or injury.

2. If you have kids, having life insurance could help provide for them financially in case something happens to one parent (such as death) or both parents (such as divorce). This could also cover expenses such as college tuition or other costs associated with raising children.

Life insurance is proof or a sign of a woman's love for her family, be it business women, career women, housewives, single moms etc. From some of the literature I've read, that women are more susceptible to deadly diseases, especially diseases that rarely affect men. So for all women to be more aware of diseases such as Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Depression, Stroke, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Thyroid, Multiple Sclerosis, Urinary Tract Infection, Celiac, Breast Cancer etc. Especially if you as a single mom are fully responsible for the survival of your children. If you die, your child will not only lose you as a mother figure, but they will also lose the financial resources that have been used to finance their lives. Therefore if women (especially single moms) have life insurance that protects your economic/financial value. then if you die, the insurance company will disburse the Sum Assured which can be utilized by the family (children).
