While influencer marketing has gained traction in the digital marketing sphere, brands have that decision to make on which influencer to use for an advertisement campaign. I want to make a case to use local influencers in your digital marketing. By local influencers, I mean influencers that their influence is core in depth within the locality of your target market.
A local influencer should already have clout within your target market and them promoting your products spotlights it to the target market directly. They integrate local bias which drives sentimental patronage for your products. A local influencer promoting a local event has more pull than big influencers.
