The bitcoin lightening network surpassed $200 million in four months which was 4 times the amount before the government of El Salvador makes it intention known on bitcoin's adoption.
This happens shortly after El Salvador made it know that it will declare bitcoin as it legal tender alongside the dollar. Before this, there was $50 million worth of bitcoin in circulation. After the declaration, the lightening network gained additional $150 million worth of bitcoin. This means that the value rose to $200 million in the lightening network.
