When I first learnt of digital marketing, I realized that it's one of the coolest ways to get across to your customers, but it proved to be a bit tough for a newbie.

One of the lessons I learnt was that you should know what your niche is, how much competition is in the market and your skill level. As a beginner trying to get seen in a competitive niches with those who had large budgets, getting seen was tough.

Another thing I learnt was the importance of diversifying your advertising tactics. You should not focus on one sole platform. Time that you spend on another platform chatting or watching videos can be used to post a short review of your offer which links back to your site.

One last thing is to get the knowledge needed. If you are able to pay for a digital marketing course or you can outsource it, do it to save yourself a lot of time and money.
