This has been a ravaging debate which often tries to emphasize the skillset a person should prioritize when it comes to career advancement. Prior to now, soft skills were regarded as a bonus as organizations were particular about technical skills. Over the last few years though, soft skills have gained more prominence and organisations are now placing premium on soft skills.
With AI coming in full force, technical tasks would be taken over by these robotic machines while soft skills being the interpersonal relationships which is needed for organisational growth can't be replaced by any machine. Nothing can replace excellent communication skills or team building skills as soft skills remain more relevant in career today.
