Increasingly politicians are targeting migrants for cheating, exploitation, especially if their home state does not help or support them. While it is easy to move other assets, the only way to recover the investment in real estate is to sell the property. In case the migrant has purchased a house or apartment, it is difficult to do maintenance since the repair persons like plumbers, electricians are being threatened or harassed , so the house is not in a good condition. If the property is sold in a hurry, the property owner may not get a good price. So should a migrant invest in real estate if they are living in a place which is not in their home state?
