BitPay, a payment service provider, has announced that SuperJeweler, a New York-based jewelry collection, now accepts cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu.

BitPay accepts a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Wrapped Bitcoin, and five USD-pegged stable coins, in addition to Shiba Inu (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP and USDC).

This means Shiba Inu owners may now shop the New York-based jewelry collection for diamonds, rings, and other items in time for Valentine's Day.

BitPay was founded in 2011 and is the world's largest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment service provider. While Bitcoin was still in its infancy, BitPay set out to revolutionize the financial system by making payments faster, more secure, and less expensive all across the world.

BitPay announced Shiba Inu integration into its wallet software in December 2021, allowing for the storage, buying, swapping, and spending of Shiba Inu.

U.Today previously reported on the planned Shib burn parties, which are set to take place from January to April, according to the roadmap. The Shib Lovers merch campaign will run from January 14 through February 14. According to Bigger Entertainment, 80% of all Shib enthusiasts' purchases will be used to burn SHIB.

According to the Bigger Entertainment website, a total of 94,756,430 million has been put to the SHIB burn pot ahead of the V-Day burn party for SHIB fans.

Shiba Inu tokens are permanently removed from circulation when they are burned. This is accomplished by transferring the tokens to a private key-protected wallet.
