It is important to realize that search engines may look for other factors besides keywords, quality content, and website tags when ranking them. Some businesses try to implement another online marketing tactic commonly called pay per click marketing to get more visitors and buyers. For this strategy to work, businesses must choose keywords or phrases carefully so that their ads appear on other sites. So, every time an online user clicks on an ad, which is directed to the advertiser's site, it means an opportunity to make a sale with each click. However, it can also mean a good amount of expenses, since the click can add up, especially when the advertisements are published on popular websites.

When you do SEO you will have to choose primary keywords and secondary keywords. You will have to use these keywords extensively on your web pages. If your SEO strategy worked, your website and web pages will rank for these keywords. If you have chosen high traffic keywords, you might never rank, if your keywords are low traffic keywords, you might rank but getting traffic is difficult.
