Saving on long distance delivery costs

A logistics company in our town has more than 100 big trucks for their delivery jobs. Business was booming because I had seen the growth of their compound with a new building and huge garage for the trucks. I knew it because my wife had applied for a job in that company.

When the heavy traffic on the main roads here started affecting the deliveries some companies have changed routes. But for the logistics company here thought of shifting their delivery hours by midnight when traffic on the main road is very light. When you travel during daytime the heavy traffic will eat your time and fuel. The night delivery has saved them a lot considering that they have no more delayed deliveries.

Well, everything has its advantage and disadvantage in as much that it will safe them the hazards of delivery during the day, hope they are really safe at night. I’m talking in terms of robbery at night. They really need to weigh the options well and go for he best option
