In a business organisation the negative attributes or qualities of favoritism can totally impact a particular business organisation negatively. When favoritism exist in a particular business organisation, it can absolutely make business personnels to lose their balance view and perspective of how a business organisation should actually be managed or be operated. It is very much necessary that a business owner of business manager makes it his or her point of discussion to take away favoritism in and out of the business organisation. Since we are talking about favoritism it can also be important for us to consider the definition as well as a description of favoritism. By description and definition favoritism refers to "The unfair favouring of one person or a group at the expense of another". To be more clear and elaborate it is definitely when an employer or business manager shows an unfair preferrence to a particular individual, thereby above the expense of the other, it could be because the business owner or business manager develops a cordial relationship with such individual or possibly such individual is his or her friends, relative, colleagues, or some other person close to him or her. If your relative or friend is your employee in the business organisation in which you serve as the business manager, it is expected to have a clear view of such individual as your employee, and never try to treat him or her more preferably than the other employees, since that can make Other employees in your business organisation to be feel left out. Favouritism in an original sense can also mean partiality. Let us consider some other consequences in which favoritism can result in a particular business organisation:

UNFAIR COMPETITION: When one business organization is given preferential treatment, it creates an uneven playing field for competitors. This can lead to unfair competition and put other businesses at a disadvantage.

REDUCED INNOVATION: When a business organization is given preferential treatment, it may not feel the same pressure to innovate and improve its products or services as other businesses. This can lead to a lack of innovation in the industry as a whole.

CORRUPTION: Favoritism can create an environment in which corruption is more likely to occur. If officials are using their position to favor a particular business organization, it can create an opportunity for that organization to offer bribes or other incentives to maintain that favoritism.

PUBLIC DISTRUST: When there is a perception of favoritism in government or other organizations, it can erode public trust in those institutions. This can have a ripple effect on the wider economy and lead to a lack of confidence in the business sector as a whole.

Favouritism in a business organisation is absolutely bad for the business well-being and it is absolutely necessary and important the business owners and business managers prohibits and avoid any form of favoritism within the business organisation because doing so will make it hard for them to retain potential employees and workers who are ready to give him their all to make sure that business activities are surely achieved and accomplished within and outside the business organisation. Understanding what favoritism can cause in a business organisation can absolutely make the business manager and the business owner to prevent it for example in a business organisation that favoritism exist, some employees will be more favoured by the business manager or the business owner than other employees or in the expense of other employees which is absolutely bad.

Originally as an employer or business manager you are to view your employees as warm and very much equal to each other and even if some men have some high-skilled qualities it is important to see them as equal.

If there is anything that I know about favoritism is basically the fact that it is a negative attitude or behaviour and ones favoritism exist in a particular business organisation it can absolutely makes it very hard and very much ineffective for business organisation to be managed and also be operated in the best possible way. It is therefore important and very much beneficial for business managers and business owners to eradicate any form of favoritism in which they come across in the business organisation. The rent is in can obviously exist in two major ways in a business organisation, the first category is when the business employer or manager shows a favorable attitude toward a group of employees at the expense of another, the other scenario is when business employees or business agents shows a favorable attitude to customers and clients consider to be worthy and the rich and who are capable to patronize the business in a large way there by neglecting others who are less rich or less wealthy.

The most obvious result of favoritism is a decline in the performance of employees who feel undervalued and unappreciated. They are less likely to take the initiative or go the extra mile, which lowers the quality of work and decreases productivity. This might lead to missed deadlines, poor outcomes, and customer loss, all of which would have an adverse effect on the business's bottom line.

Favoritism can also result in a negative work atmosphere where staff members feel as though they must compete with one another for recognition and attention. This can lead to conflicts and tension among colleagues, leading to a breakdown in communication and teamwork. In turn, this can lead to more mistakes, missed opportunities, and lower productivity.
