A business manager or a business owner does not establish a business for him or herself but rather a business is established for the public to come in and patronize as they have the interest or the desire of satisfying their needs and wants. Apart from the satisfaction of needs and wants, individual business organisations absolutely play other roles two members of the public. Below are some of these other roles individual businesses gives to the public:

* Employment: in different regions and countries of the world, private and governmental businesses are being established, the main aim of these businesses is to make profit but the secondary aim is also to be a source of employment to the public. Employment is granted to the public by individual businesses, especially business organisations in rural, underdeveloped, and developing areas.

* Needs and wants satisfaction: as we already explained, the main purpose for business establishment is to satisfy the needs and wants of the greater public. A business that cannot get it products or services marketed to members of the public is considered to be unhealthy, and an unhealthy business is prone to failure anytime soon.

* Charity responsibilities: another secondary responsibility most businesses who are successful, are charity responsibilities. During the lockdown, most successful businesses carried out philanthropic activities, by donating money to charity and to private individuals who have lost their business or jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic season.

Businesses have an important responsibility to the public. Not only do they need to focus on producing quality products and services, but they also need to be mindful of the impact their practices have on the public. Businesses need to be aware of the environmental, economic and social effects their decisions and actions can have on their customers, employees and the wider community.

When it comes to the environment, businesses must ensure their operations are compliant with the latest environmental regulations. This includes properly disposing of waste, reducing energy consumption, and using renewable energy sources whenever possible. Businesses must also take steps to protect the environment in the products they create and the materials they use.

Businesses must also be aware of the economic impact their decisions can have. For example, businesses should strive to create jobs in the local community and ensure their prices are fair and competitive. Additionally, businesses should strive to be transparent in their pricing and provide clear information to customers about the costs associated with their products and services.

Finally, businesses have a social responsibility to their customer base. This includes providing a safe and comfortable environment for employees and customers. Businesses should also ensure their products and services are accessible and affordable to the public.

Apart from satisfying the needs and wants of members of the public there are many other responsibilities that business owes to the public. But somehow this may not be considered to be responsibilities since they are not backed up by law of the state or law of the country in which they reside in. These are just right and good deeds in which businesses Grant to members of the public as privileges for them to earn a living. Indeed you have taking your time to explain some of these privileges the businesses provide to the public, but it is absolutely necessary for us to include the payment of taxes and levies to the government.

Employment opportunities are granted by individual businesses to the public and that is because of labour who plays a very important role in business growth and development, and for this individual businesses to grow and develop they need to be ready to issue a reasonable amount of employment opportunities to members of the public.

There are called corporate social responsibilities. They are not compulsory but they are important for your business. It would project the image of your business in good light. And an organization doesn't have to go break the bank before it can do it. Every business organization can do community service at the most basic of levels.

In my own small poultry farm, I give. free water from the hours of 6am to 8am. I know the benefits I enjoy from that gesture. The community takes it upon itself to protect my business. It is not all about profit making. You can do simple things to boost the profile and reputation of your business.

An organization that I know just pays school fee for an indigene of it's host community every year. The community appreciates the fact that the business recognizes it. They love and protevt the business from external aggression
