Raising napier grass for cattle feeds

My former boss Max bought a big parcel of land some 30 years ago. He planted trees for wood that he planned to sell as lumber in the future. Now he was living in that land after selling most of the trees. He is converting his land to a type of nature resort.

Last week I saw him posting in Facebook about napier grass that he sells to cattle and livestock raisers. He said that napier grass is good for the cows to produce more milk. It can also be fodder for horses particularly race horses. That got me thinking. The land was idle and all it had were lumber trees and grass but now there is a money maker in the grass. Indeed land is a very good investment because aside from the rising value of the land there is also the product that can give you an income.
