Private universities or public universities

Private universities are academic institutions that are not owned by the state and operated under the privately managed entity. The source of funding for this type of institution is the tuition and investment and also private donors.
A public university on the other hand is a university primarily funded by a state government.
I prefer a public university to a private university because in a public universe, there is freedom. Students can easily mix up among themselves. Whereas in most private universities, students movement are restricted and students are forced to follow the school rules and regulations which are often ridiculous.
Which do you prefer?

It really depends on a lot of things. In public universities the fees are relatively lower and the children of the less privileged are therefore able to afford education. Moreso in public universities, the affairs are ran by the government and therefore the needed facilities can easily by provided by the government and so public universities will be better equipped with the required learning facilities if the government is dedicated to it's work.
In private universities, their is a relatively higher fees to pay and therefore the welfare of students is well attended to and their will be more seriousness owing to the fact that a lot was paid. Moreso, the facilities provided are gotten from the fees students pay, thus the reason for the exorbitant fee.
Also in this kind of set up, the students affair is well attended to.
Either way, it is all good but the advantage I think of public universities is the relatively lower fees.
