As you were saying plantain is a really nutritious farming product. If there is an open market for it in your area and you are able to farm it efficiently and ethically it could be very lucrative. Farming of any crop with high demand on a small scale is VERY easy to get into and can be scaled into a large scale project.

Plantain food is on high demand in my location and people who are engaging in the plantain business are likely to make a lot of money with it ,but the problem is that it is a business that will require you to be patient since is going to take a lot of time for the plantain to bring up fruit and ready for you to sell it.

This is one of the ventures that sustains on of my aunty in the village. Every market day she cuts like three bunches, tie it to her bicycles and ends to the market. This is repeated every four days. If you see her gigantic house, you will marvel. Some people in town's and outside Nigeria has not achieve such fit. Many people underestimate this source of income, that spreads on its own with little or no care; it keeps yielding revenue for you.

In a place like South America it surely makes sense. I mean someone has to do it. But, where you live and whatever your situation as regards to growing Plantain as a crop for your cultivated rain forest is perfect. These tropics makes the grade when it comes time to produce food that almost anyone who loves them will buy and eat.

In a faraway province I had seen the plantain farm which they said was a good money making business. However, I have noticed the huge pile of dead palm that the farm hand said would decay (in a matter of months). The remnants of the palm after harvesting can be a problem which may need some workers for the mopping up operation.

It is a good business though, but it requires some capital to make it a standard one. You will have to get a land, we all know that costs money, either by buying it or renting. You will have to need some people to help you carry out the plantation process because it can’t be done alone

Planting farming can be a very good business if you can secure buyers from the foreign countries. There are some pharmaceutical companies in Europe who are looking for a local supplier of planting from the African countries because they know it is cheaper from the continent. you are going to make a lot of money if you can secure just two or three regular buyers.

this is one of the businesses I would like to venture into in the nearest future because I actually have an interest in agriculture. plantain farming is a lucrative business and people make a whole lot of money from it. You need to have capital and the idea, you also need to get a very large hectare of land.

Plantain farming is very lucrative especially when you find yourself in a place where there is a higher demand for it. You just need an expanse of Land closer to the water to make the plantain germinate faster on the farmland. If you have the money you can also run an irrigation into the farm. With little marketing you are going to sell all your harvest.
