Upwork is a very good freelancing platform but you must understand that it is very competitive that means you must try as much as possible to acquire very good skill that would sale. there are many people that have been into the freelancing world for a while but they have not really made any money and the reason they not me because they don't have proper skill but because they don't have proper knowledge of how to get work. freelancing offers people the opportunity to make money on the internet without really spending much money and of course this is one of the reasons why a lot of people have been considering venturing into it. There are thousands of people on different freelancing platforms and this is one of the reasons why you must understand that for you to succeed there is a level of knowledge you must have. First of all, it is very much important you pick a skill that would sale. Some time ago I was watching a YouTube video and someone said that there are some skills that would make you a whole amount of money on different freelance platforms and they're not really competitive. And one of them is designing local attires. The main reason a lot of people do not succeed is because they go for the competitive ones.
