Long time vs short time crypto investment??

I have seen where someone invested heavily on a particular coin after studying about the coin, and tracking its progress from the scratch. Then finally invested and waited for five years for the coin to develop and bring astronomical profit, which it did. I prefer long time Cryptocurrency investment than short time invest of crypto. If you are not patient enough that investment might turn futile, bringing no dividends. Just take a look at the way Bitcoin is going right now, if you're too skeptical and unable to wait for some time for your profit to come by, you might accrue losses by cutting short your investment.
