No! It is not safe to give job recommendation to a friend at your workplace. Job recommendation is a sensitive issue and it is always better to avoid it. It may create a bad impression on the person you are recommending the place for so, it is better not to recommend any person for that particular job.
However, if you are sure about the person's qualification and experience, then you can give your recommendation as per your own judgment and that too with some restrictions like only giving recommendations to those people who are in good terms with you or those people who belong to your circle of friends or relatives. Although, there are no hard-and-fast rules to follow when it comes to giving job recommendations. However, most companies will frown on you if you give a recommendation that is not based on qualifications. So what do you think?
