I wish I had seen this thread earlier I will have messaged you swiftly so that I can get this help to grow my subscribers because I really need subsctibers on my channel. All the same I hsve been getting subscribers but in little drops not as expected though.
The first way to get subscribers is to promote your channel.it can be the paid promotion or the free promotion. if you have the money you can run. the Google ads on your channel and let the software help show your videos to different eoder audience on YouTube.
But if you don't have money then you can use the free promotion which is about advertising on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. You need to be consistent with your promotion though. make your thumbnails to be catchy too so that people would always want to clivk on your videos because of your thumbnail
