So you've decided to stay in the workforce, but you're not sure how to keep your skills fresh and your resume up-to-date.

Here are some tips on staying competitive in your career:

1. Update your resume every couple of years. The more often you update it, the easier it will be for employers to find what they're looking for. Make sure your resume reflects all of your key skills, and make sure that you highlight any new skills or knowledge that have been learned since the last time you updated your resume.

2. Don't be afraid to ask for advice from people who know more than you do! A lot of times, people in similar positions can give really helpful advice on how they keep their skills fresh and up-to-date. they might even want to mentor you! And if someone has gone through this process before, they're probably more likely to be willing to help out a newbie!

3. Take advantage of any training opportunities that come along! You never know when an opportunity for professional development will arise especially if there's a formal program at work or school. so don't miss out on it just because it doesn't seem like something that fits with your current schedule right now!
