Firstly before I start my analysis about this topic I would like to defined the meaning of Restaurant in a simple way.
What is restaurant?
Restaurant is a place where one can make one comfortable by eating food,drinking and have rest in order to regain strength or energy to perform daily activities.
Some times most people like to start food restaurant but they Dont know how to go about it.
In fact some people will always talk about capital though capital is important but there are some other things that are mostly important before one could venture in to selling of food and in which without one will just waste the whole capital invested.
What you need are:
(1) Passion (2) Idea(3) capital(4) visibility studies (research) (5)packaging (6)Advertisement(7)Promotion

PASSION: Before one will start this business one need to have passion that is; to have joy in doing it before going in to it because without this one can be tired of continue if any little problem just arise.

IDEA: It is what somebody have passion for that he/she will be looking for away of knowing more about. And once you have the idea(knowledge) you will now or plan how to go about it.

CAPITAL : Capital can be require after one has gotten knowledge about the business and you will be bold enough to put in the resources(capital) with the assurance of making profit at the end.
VISIBILITY STUDIES: This can be done by making a good research about the place where you will put or stage your shop or office.
Here you are going to know more about the environment because without the good interaction of the environment with your business ; the business will not stand and one will not make good sales.
PACKAGING: As a seller you must package what you are selling very well so that it will attract your customer.e.g Neat surroundings,knowing what people needs and do it very well,taste of your food must be superb .
ADVERTISEMENT:You need to create awareness to people around and far by using interment method and other means.
PROMOTION: You can as well promoting you self so that people may like to patronise you.
Whne all these step is considered am rest assure that you will surely make profit and happy at the end.

Also I will like to add few things, to succeed in this business, people new to carry out survey on the existing business on ground and see what they can do to improve on their own. Like as a food seller you might think of creating a small place for people to eat their food also provide take away for people that can not eat on spot. There might be a plasma TV in d place to keep them entertained and home services can also be rendered.

Many people own a restaurant but they can't make good money daily because of the way the start up the business and the way they operate,a restaurant is a place will people going to eat and when we are talking about eating nobody will enjoy eating his or her food in a dirty place or dirty environments, so before starting up the business and make a good money, you must make your restaurant very clean, prepare a delicious meal that you know every customer will enjoy it, impossible you buy a television to entertain your customers well eating.
