I am planning to retire before I reach 40 years of age and I am thinking about to retire in probably in Vietnam or Bali, Indonesia. Why Vietnam or Bali, why not other countries? Well, when you are retiring in foreign countries, you need to find a place where cost of living is relatively low. In these countries you can live a modest life only with $2k per month.

In order to retire in foreign country, you need a specific plans regarding how much money you need, how will you making that money, and how long will it take you to achieve that.

You need to understand financial minimalism and the power of compounding over time. Financial minimalism means living in the lowest cost possible and compounding means growing your income and wealth through compounding, for instance, investment.

Live away from cities so that you are not bombard with tempting ads, and away from social media that tempts you to spend.
