Hand eczema is a common type of eczema that affects the skin on your hands, especially the palms and/or fingers. It's also known as "prickly heat" or "stretch marks."

According to dermatologists, there are several factors that can trigger hand eczema, including extreme weather conditions (like cold or wind), exposure to harmful chemicals (like house paint), stress, and even exercise.

Dermatologists recommend these steps to prevent hand eczema:

1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water to keep them clean.

2. Wear gloves when you're working with harsh chemicals or painting walls. especially if you have dry skin or skin cracks on your hands (these are common signs of dryness).

3. Dry off after washing your hands by patting them dry with paper towels and applying moisturizer generously (but don't apply too much!)

4. Avoid scratching your hands as much as possible. this can lead to scarring on your skin that may cause serious health problems later on down the road!
