Music is a career path that so many people wish they are part of. The glamour, the fame, and the money that comes with this career path are cool. Surprisingly many people have tried out their hands on a music career, but only very few have made it. In this post, I am going to list the things you can do to achieve success in music.
1) Know the sound and genre that fits your skillset and stick with it.
2) Have the charisma that fits your genre of music. There is a kind of dressing that fits a hip-hop star and one that fits a rockstar.
3) Have a good team. There is so much you can do with just your talents. Go for the best producers, sound engineers, promoters, etc.
4) Don't make money your priority as an upcoming artist. Focus on getting exposure. Self-sacrifice is necessary here.
5) Understudy people who have succeeded in your genre. Get to find out their mistakes and critical success factors. It will shorten your journey.
