In some businesses, there are periods of incredible results but soon after that comes a huge dip. For such businesses, they are unable to maintain momentum in their operations and business approach. How can you maintain momentum in business and not do one step forward and two steps backwards. These are some tips to maintain momentum.

1) Create a robust improvement strategy: Strategy is very important in business and your ability to develop a strategy to maintain your improvement is important. Look at the variables that defined the successful run, build on them and practice them more to maintain the momentum.

2) Avoid Quick Bursts of Activities: For some businesses, they have that sort of adrenaline induced activity level that spikes up all of a sudden and tires everyone out, then it drops. Instead of that quick bursts, encourage your team to put in a consistent level of efforts and increase activity level. With that you would have a fixed momentum that rises bit by bit and is sustainable.
