How to maintain business production capacity during scarcity

Here are some tips to help your business maintain its production capacity during scarcity:

1. Plan for more inventory. If you have a lot of inventory, increase the size of your order quantities in anticipation of increased demand. This will allow you to maintain your production capacity and still meet increasing demand.

2. Maintain good relations with suppliers. If your supplier can't keep up with orders, it is likely that they will try to sell their product elsewhere instead of holding on to it for you as an opportunity to sell more at a later time. This can result in lost sales for you (and possibly lost sales for other customers as well). Try to be friendly and understanding with them if they do decide to sell their product elsewhere; this will help establish good relations and make it easier for you when they are ready to fill your order again in the future, which they may do if they want to continue doing business with you or if they want the chance at making some extra money by keeping their stock on hand until someone else wants it first.)
