Yes I know it is always good to sell quality products to attract customers but that is not enough. people buy products for different reasons and they can also avoid your products for different reasons even when you believe you are selling a quality products people can avoid your products because of your packaging, it could be because of the price or it could be because of poor customer service.

So they are different reasons for this so to get it right it is always advisable that you find out from their reviews that is why it is always good to ask customers for their reviews after buying your products so that you get to know the reasons why they might not buy it the next time it will help you solve a lot of problems.

You are right, people including me do not purchase products either because we don't know what will want, we don't know if the product is right for us, we don't know if we would be happy with the purchase.
One could fix the problem of a customer not knowing what they want by assisting them. You could start by asking such customers what is the purpose of what they want to purchase, then you could provide different options for the customer.
You could fix the problem of a customer knowing what is right for them by telling the customers the importance of benefits of the products to them.
You could fix the problem of a custom not knowing if they would be happy with the purchase by showing them good reviews of the product.
