Delivery jobs is about helping people that orders items online to bring whatever they ordered to their doorstep, it does not matter what it is because it is actually not your job to go through it, all you have to is to deliver it. This work is divided into two aspect that I know of, which are;
1. Working under a brand
2. Working as the owner
1. Working under a brand: This is usually about the rider working for a particular online store to help deliver goods and items to their customer, in this job, the company gets to give you the ride you will be using and you will be paid for the job you do, probably as a salary earner because that is how it works here in nigeria, I do not know about other countries.
2. Working as the owner: In this you will get to own your bike that you will be using to carry out your jobs, you will buy a bike or two and then make sure you are connected to some small businesses that can’t afford to have their personal delivery rider. Another way to make money from this is to run your services under a big brand and you will be getting commission, for example, you registered under jumia and you work from them, you will be paid and still get some commission as well.
