In order to minimize or possibly eliminate frauds in business, the following precautionary and preventive measures must be put in place.
1. Training: there should be adequate training and re - training for both management for other staffs. Staffs should be given sufficient technical and theoretical training about the various task to be performed
2. Formation of good personnel and recruitment policies: recruitments not based on sentiments but on personal knowledge of applicants, guarantee and reference from people of high integrity will prevent the recruitment of greedy.
3. Attractive pay: compensation will enable an average employees life above poverty line and shun temptation to defraud his or her employer.
4. Suspected frauds: all suspected frauds should be reported promptly to the business management for proper investigation.
