It is already known that the main purpose of employing employees and recruiting workers in a business organisation is for the purpose of them helping in the achievement and accomplishment of goals and objectives. However in a business organisational setting some employees are more likely to deviate from participating and performing their roles as expected and as planned. However, so many effective ways exist to make sure that employees do not deviate from their responsibilities and duties but one of the most important is by issuing or allocating penalties to each illicit or unethical behaviour practiced or shown by employees. Penalties can help keep staff in line by serving as a deterrent for undesirable behavior. When staff members are aware that there will be consequences for not following rules or policies, they may be more likely to adhere to them in order to avoid being penalized. There are several types of penalties that can be used to help keep staff in line, including:

* Financial penalties: Financial penalties, such as fines or wage deductions, can be effective in deterring staff members from engaging in undesirable behavior.

* Disciplinary action: Disciplinary action, such as verbal or written warnings, can be an effective way to communicate to staff members that their behavior is not acceptable and needs to be corrected.

* Termination: In extreme cases, termination of employment may be necessary in order to send a strong message that certain behavior is not tolerated.

In conclusion, while penalties should not be used excessively or arbitrarily, they can be an effective tool for helping to keep staff in line and maintain a productive and positive work environment.
