The inner child is supposedly the most potent force in human life. We were shaped by our childhoods, and it's these experiences that help us form who we are today. When you're feeling stuck, bored, or just not quite yourself, it can be helpful to take a step back and look at what your inner child is trying to tell you.

Why? Because if you don't address your inner child's needs, it will grow up without being heard or understood. What can you then do? Below are a few words of advice:

1. Take a time out for yourself every day. Your inner child deserves it!

2. You'll start to feel better quickly if you listen to upbeat music!

3. Go on a trip without any expectations of what might happen. it'll help you get over whatever's bothering you and give your mind some space to think through things on its own terms.
