The major reason a lot of people around the world go to school is because they want to get high paying jobs. This is actually the case for several individuals around the world and it is the major motivation so many people go to school.

That may not be a bad idea but the truth is that people who are much more focused in starting their own businesses build more successful careers and achieve financial freedom faster than those who look for jobs.

If you actually go to school and finally graduated with a very good grade and you are able to get a very good job that pays reasonable amount of money every single month then you are under someone who may actually decide to sack you at any time but that is not the case for someone who starts a business.

If you start a business you are your own boss and you will have the opportunity to employ a lot of other people including those who are looking for their dream jobs. But not withstanding, there are still a lot of disadvantages when it comes to starting your own business it boils down to the fact that you bear every risk involved in the business.

An employee can actually leave your business to another business if anything wrong happens to it but you will be the one to bear the losses.

In some countries, the success of a person starting a business depends on the family background, gender and personal factors like height, appearance. Small online business owners from poorer communities are often criminally defamed, cheated, exploited, robbed by the rich and powerful. So if a person is short and from a poor community, it is very difficult to get any orders, however much they try. Large companies will usually pay all employees their salaries, if they are coming to office daily and doing the work assigned, so a salaried employee will make more money than a small online business owner.
