I beg to be disagree with your assertion in your post. Traffic method is not the basis of affiliate marketing. Solving problem is the basis of affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is all about value exchange. You research about a group of people with common problem and provide them with best solution. That is the basis of affiliate marketing.
