Fixed income market is the biggest market in the world. It has a huge potential for growth and offers investors a range of different investment opportunities with varying risk levels. Fixed income investments include bonds, treasury bills, bank deposits and other financial instruments. Fixed income market is a contract that specifies the interest rate, maturity date and coupon rate. Each time a bond is issued by a company or government, it becomes an obligation of its issuer. The issuer of the bond is obligated to pay interest on the principal amount outstanding at a stated rate for a specified period of time.

In this way, fixed income markets are an important part of any economy. They provide investors with stability in their investment portfolios and help them plan ahead for their future financial obligations. The fixed income market is segmented into different segments such as corporate bonds, government bonds, asset-backed securities (ABS), mortgage backed securities (MBS) and money market instruments.
