Job shadowing is one great way by which you can train your employees to gain more insight into their field of work by observing or learning from the experienced hands in that field.

it is one of the cost effective ways of training employees and it will help to boost the confidence and efficiency of the employees in the execution of their jobs.

But you need to consider some things before you adopt this method of training for your employees.

The below points needs to be taken into consideration when trying to adopt this training

Training takes longer time

Since it involves the non experienced workers observing the experienced ones then the employes will need to shadow their mentor for a long length of time. This duration of time is to aid in making them understand the information at their own pace.

Job shadowing needs pre-knowledge by the employee

Since the training is mostly about observing the veterans or professionals. they will be need for the observer to have a little knowledge of what is being observed to learn better

Lack of time for moment questions

Since the mentor might be busy working while the other employees are just observing to know there might not just be time for in-the-moment questions, so pertinent questions may not be asked or answered.
