When there is progress in the business the tendency is to expand for growth. The most common is in opening a branch store when the business is retailing. For the owner the expansion would need capital so the expansion should be treated as a new business with the same nature. How much capital is needed should be estimated and should not affect the finances of the original business. If the branch would not perform well then let it close and let the original branch do the earning of profits. Never merge the finances of the original and the branch. Likewise with the workers there should be another set of manpower for the expansion.
