The acceptance of cryptocurrency is gaining traction everyday and the one that catch the attention of the cryptocurrency investors was a statement made in the European Union summit. It was indeed a major news that could spike a change In the crypto market. The European Union understood the positive impact that cryptocurrency would make if it's adopted by the member countries.
Johannsson, European Union Commissioner for Home Affairs explained that she is not against cryptocurrency but she is skeptical of how the criminals and terrorists would take advantage of it anonymity to perpetrate unlawful activities. Her statement suggested that the member countries are willing to explore the fortune embedded in the crypto market. The use of cryptocurrency for illicit activities is on the increase and the scammers are hiding it anonymity to perpetrate unlawful activities.
