Emotion and marketing to families and friends

In business the need to market our products very well is very key to the business success. Marketing is all about convincing your buyer to buy your products or call for your services.

There is always a saying that charity begins at home, so I think the best way to start by introducing our product to the market is by introducing or marketing the products to our families and friends and people around us.

Marketing our products or goods to our families and friends can tend to be very simple but it might not come as simple as we think.

We tend to put more effort and be more professional when marketing our products and services to an outsider that we perceive to be a potential customer, but we tend to relax the momentum and change strategy when dealing with families and friends.

Despite the close relationship with our families and friend, some of them still turn down what we have to offer them and still prefer to go and get that same products or service outside. It then show that if we don't market our products and services well to families and friends some of them might not buy the products.

Should we be more formal when marketing to families and friends or to informal due to our relationship with them. Majority of people believe that because they are very close to their families and friends then it will be so easy to convince them to buy their products and services.

Some member of the family will rather still prefer to go out and buy the same product you have offer them if you have not convince them enough, they feel that personal emotions should not be use to win them over but rather present a quality marketing skill to convince them.
