Anything positive or negative you leave on your body can affect your health. If you going through a bad time with your relationship with your loved ones, friends or family you can cause havoc to your wellbeing.

If you do not put your emotions in check and continue to hold on to anger and maybe resentment then you trigger up some chemicals in your body. Experts says you are prone to having health issues such as:

Chest pain

Even change in your behavior which could be social withdrawal, addictions to drugs or alcohol, over or undereating and getting angry easily.

Our physical health might be negatively impacted by negative emotions that are persistent or overwhelming. The same chemicals that trigger our bodies' fight, freeze, or flight reflexes are continually released when we experience chronic or elevated amounts of stress.

A quicker or slower heart rate, a decrease in appetite, a slowdown of body functions, sweating, a reduced desire for sleep, and a change in sweating pattern are some physiological responses that can save your life. Anxiety, a sense of being overpowered, and irritation can also result from increased adrenaline and heightened sensitivity to stimuli.

Chronic stress levels and negative emotions can cause:

High blood pressure
Cardiac disease
Dehydration
Insomnia
Diabetes Immune system dysfunction
digestive problems

Stress can induce malnutrition due to a decreased appetite, muscle tension and aches, as well as make it more difficult for your body to develop and recover from injuries. These ailments can significantly lower your quality of life in addition to being harmful to your health.

Negative emotions such as stress, anxiety, and depression can have a negative impact on physical health. Studies have shown that chronic stress can weaken the immune system, increase the risk of heart disease and stroke, and contribute to the development of other health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Anxiety and depression can also have physical effects on the body. For example, anxiety can cause physical symptoms such as dizziness, rapid heartbeat, and stomach problems. Depression can lead to fatigue, muscle aches and pains, and changes in appetite.

It is important to manage negative emotions and find healthy ways to cope with stress. This may involve talking to a mental health professional, participating in activities that bring joy and relaxation, and finding healthy ways to manage and express emotions. Taking care of your mental health can have positive effects on overall physical health and well-being.

Negative emotions like anxiety and depression can have a negative impact on your health.

When you're feeling anxious, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed out. The stress hormone cortisol is released, which can disrupt your body's natural rhythms, making it harder for you to sleep. This can lead to poor sleep quality and even chronic insomnia. Poor sleep quality can also make you more likely to feel depressed or anxious in the future—and that's not good for your health!

Depression can also cause problems with your sleep. If you're depressed, it can be hard to get restful sleep because you're experiencing negative thoughts about yourself or others that keep you up at night. You might also be worried about what will happen tomorrow or how others will react if they find out how much weight you've lost so much so that it makes it hard for you to fall asleep at night.

One way to combat these effects is by meditating every day. Meditating helps clear your mind, reduce stress levels and relax your body so that you can fall asleep easier and stay asleep longer when necessary.
