To save money, you need to be disciplined. In practice, this means eliminating impulse spending and learning to say no to yourself and family whenever someone wants to buy something that is out of your budget. Also say no to any invitations whose budget you cannot meet.

Actually, reducing expenses is a great way to increase savings.
It's often much easier to reduce expenses than it is to increase income, so consider this method first if you're looking for ways to start saving.
If you want to save $200 by the end of the month and you don't think you'll be able to make more money, try reducing your expenses.
Maybe instead of taking a cab to work every day, you take public transit twice a week and walk the other three days. Or maybe instead of going out for dinner three times a week, you limit yourself to one meal out and cook at home on the other nights.
If you want to increase your savings, one of the most effective ways to do it is to reduce expenses. By taking a look at your household budget and deciding what expenses are essential and what can be reduced, you'll be able to build a plan for increased savings.<
Even small adjustments can add upmmore than you can imagine in the long run.

Being discipline about saving money can be difficult but there ways you can overcome spending your savings.

Saving a particular amounts every month is a nice way of saving, it helps make your savings balanced. Having a savings account that yields high interest will help alot too.

Distinguish between your needs from your wants and spend wisely, do not attempt leaving a luxerous live when you have a goal to achieve.

Going out to spend with your friends or peers can lead you to spend more than what you ought to spend, they won't be there when you start going through financial stress.
