When you are starting a business you need to have a business name. The advice is for the business name to be descriptive so that the public will have an idea of what your business is all about. One example is an importer of leather goods so the chosen business name is Mighty Leather Trading. It is very descriptive because leather was there and trading means you are not a manufacturer but simply a distributor or retailer. Before you register the business name create 3 business names just in case the first one is already in use the 2nd choice will apply and then the 3rd. In worst cases all 3 names are in use so you have to think of more.
