Following the shutdown of the mainframe of the Solana-based decentralized exchange OptiFi which lead to the loss of $661,000 after a developer accidentally shut down the entire program powering the exchange using the fatal “solana program close” command, reports have surfaced about a similar mistake by Crypto.com

An Australian customer was refunded $10.5 million AUD instead of $100 AUD. This mistake was not realized till an audit at the end of the year, and by then, the customer had already moved part of the funds and spent it. The mistake was never reported by the user too.

Luckily, the exchange has filed a lawsuit against her, and she's to pay back all the money spent with interest.
While the logical thing would have been to report and return the funds, it's also understandable the temptation to use it quietly, hoping that it may not be noticed.

If it were to happen to you, would you return the funds back to the exchange or would you use it
