The popular cryptocurrency exchange Binance recently announced a new project, Portal (PORTAL), on their Launchpool platform. Portal is a gaming platform that aims to attract more players to the world of Web 3.0. To participate, users can stake their BNB and FDUSD tokens in separate pools for a period of seven days starting on February 22, 2024. After this, on February 29, Binance will list PORTAL and users will be able to trade it with popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Tether, First Digital USD, and TRY tokens.
This announcement caused a small increase in the value of BNB and resulted in a sharp increase in trading volumes, possibly due to traders purchasing BNB to participate in Launchpool. Another project on Binance Launchpool, Pixels (PIXEL) on the Ronin blockchain, has recently topped the list of most traded cryptocurrencies on the platform.
