College is an exciting time in a student's life, but it can also be a balancing act between schoolwork and extracurricular activities, between keeping up with your friends and family and maintaining your finance.
I got some tips for you to help you make that transition as smooth as possible:
1. Start early
Make sure you schedule time to study or work on assignments before class starts. That way, when you get into the busyness of your schedule, you will be able to focus on what needs to be done instead of struggling through the day.
2. Get plenty of sleep!
It's easy to stay up late studying or working on homework if there isn't enough time in between classes but if you're tired from lack of sleep, it makes it hard for your brain to function properly at all times. So try to get at least 7 hours of rest every night!
3. Try not to skip meals!
Eating meals often helps keep blood sugar levels stable so that we can focus better when we're studying or working on projects. If you don't eat regularly throughout the day, then it can be harder for your body's natural processes (like digestion) to work properly..
4. Set up a budget
You don't have to be a math wizard to figure out how much money you need for food, rent, and other expenses.
