Areas not covered by Earthquake insurance

When you need to take out any insurance policy it is good to have knowledge of what the policy does not cover. So with earthquake insurance policy the following areas below are not covered by Earthquake Insurance:

So the following areas are excluded on the earthquake insurance policies:


Damages to the Satellite dishes and antennas, personal property that are siter outside of the house



Earthquake insurance policy excludes Exterior masonry veneerBulkheads, piers, wharves and even walls and fences

The Underground structures or equipment outside the foundation wall of the dwelling are all excluded. These are items like retaining walls,cables, underground pipes, etc

Another exclusions are the following Water supply systems in the dwelling like water reclamation systems, wells, , sprinkler systems and irrigation systems

Other exclusions with earthquake insurance includes patio coverings
Landscaping, trees, shrubs, lawns or plants. Data stored on physical record are not left out which are the paper or accounting books

The Trailers designed for use with a motor vehicle are excluded. Animals, birds or fish in the home are not covered same with decorative items or works of art.whuch are such as chandeliers murals, , fountains, aquariums.

Earthquake insurance doesn't cover for the spas Swimming pools, and hot tubs. Same go for Motor, watercraft etc.
