Are professional apps/softwares killing professionalism?

Almost everything in the world has an app that can emulate it. Every profession now has apps that have reduced the work of humans in that profession. While that is good in a way, I think that the advent of software has eroded professionalism in our system. People that are not professionals or trained in a particular field are now functioning in those fields courtesy of software. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Take, for instance, a person with no accounting background who can function as an accountant. All he/ she has to do is to study accounting software like Quicken. It is common knowledge that people who have never gone near an architectural class can just study AutoCad and function as an architect. Do you think software has made professionals useless? Do we manage this software so that we can find a balance between ease and professionalism?
