Feeling anxious is a natural reaction to pressure. However, this may become debilitating when it becomes difficult to manage and begins to interfere with daily living. Nearly 20 percent of American people deal with some kind of anxiety illness. 1 Anxiety disorders are more common in women than in men overall, although they are more common in women. 2 The majority of patients with anxiety disorders get some kind of psychotherapy, medication, or both. Some ladies with anxiety issues have found relief via yoga or meditation.

Anxiety disorders are a common mental health problem, and they can be frustrating to deal with. However, there are many different types of anxiety disorders, and each one has its own unique set of symptoms.

The most common types of anxiety disorders include:

1. Panic Attacks

These are sudden, unexpected attacks that cause intense fear and physical symptoms like sweating, trembling or shaking, chest pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Panic attacks can occur when you're in a stressful situation or may happen at random times. They often last for minutes or hours but sometimes go on for longer periods of time. You may also experience them repeatedly over time if left untreated.

2. Social Anxiety Disorder

Social anxiety disorder involves feeling embarrassed or humiliated by small things like public speaking or being introduced to new people. People who have this disorder often avoid social situations because they don't feel comfortable talking to others or having conversations with strangers. If left untreated, this condition can lead to depression or other mood disorders because it makes it difficult for you to pursue your daily activities in life such as work or school because they become too stressful due to feelings of embarrassment and nervousness around others."
