It is difficult to predict with certainty which cryptocurrency, Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash, will appreciate more in value in a given year. Both Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash have their own unique characteristics and potential for growth.

Litecoin, often referred to as the "silver to Bitcoin's gold," is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that has been around since 2011. It is similar to Bitcoin in many ways, but with a faster block generation time and a different hashing algorithm. Litecoin's faster block generation time means that transactions are confirmed more quickly than with Bitcoin, which can make it more attractive for merchants and consumers.

Bitcoin Cash, on the other hand, is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain that was created in 2017. It has a larger block size than Bitcoin, which allows for more transactions to be processed per block. This can make it more attractive for use as a transactional currency.

Both Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash have their own active development communities and have undergone updates and upgrades to improve their functionality. Litecoin has been working on privacy features and upgrades to its smart contract capabilities, while Bitcoin Cash has been focusing on scaling solutions to improve its ability to handle more transactions.

In general, both Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and it's hard to predict which one will appreciate more in value in a given year. The value of cryptocurrencies can be highly volatile and subject to many factors, such as market sentiment, regulatory changes, and competition from other cryptocurrencies.

I root for Litecoin to do better this year. Which of the two do you root for?
