Adolescence is the phase of life between childhood and adulthood, from ages 10 to 19. It is a unique stage of human development and an important time for laying the foundations of good health.
Adolescents experience rapid physical, cognitive and psychosocial growth. This affects how they feel, think, make decisions, and interact with the world around them.
Despite being thought of as a healthy stage of life, there is significant death, illness and injury in the adolescent years. Much of this is preventable or treatable. During this phase, adolescents establish patterns of behaviour – for instance, related to diet, physical activity, substance use, and sexual activity – that can protect their health and the health of others around them, or put their health at risk now and in the future

Adolescence is a stage of development in which many changes occur at the emotional, physical, and cognitive levels, the first stage and occurs from ages 10 to 17. Adolescence is a phase of maturation, it is a transitional period of physical and psychological human development between childhood and adulthood, is marked by the onset of puberty and the termination of physical growth with changes in the sex organs and characteristics including height, weight, and muscle mass, as well as a time for major changes in brain growth and maturation. Adolescent brain development can be consciously controlled by adolescent themselves.

During the stage of adolescence, there is a change in physical, psychological and sociological aspects of an individual along with values, attitudes, interests and behaviour. During this period the boys and girls consider themselves they are heroes and heroine of the life cycle. They think that they can do and undo everything during their life span without understanding the reality of life. Adolescence thought is flexible and effective. Yeah adolescents also need to care for their health because there's no specific age that one can kick the bucket so it is up to every human to care for their health. Only that when it comes to adolescents they might need help from their parents or guardians so that they really know how to go about it.

Just like with adultss it is pertinent that the teenagers take care of their different body parts this will increase the health value that they have. They can start by taking out time to exercise. Exercise is a good way by which they can exercise their muscles and strengthen their bones.

They can also meditate to help them grow heathy from the inside. Sometimes the body just need to be in a secluded place to destress abd this what the moments of meditation offers the body

Another good way adolescent can live healthily is by eating good food or taking balanced diet. This one wise way to ensure that the body takes in adequate nutrients. Adolescents are growing humans so they really need nutritional foods 5o help them grow better so they need to feed on balanced diet foods and vegetables to get all the vitamins and minerals that the body really needs.
