An active malfunction is an event that occurs in the product and causes a malfunction in the product. The event could be something as simple as a loose wire or as serious as a fire. This type of insurance covers both types of malfunctions. The key to active malfunction coverage is to know what you will pay for and when you need it. If your insurance company knows that you have been using your product for years, they will likely have a lower premium for this type of coverage.

If there is an active malfunction, it can mean that your product was used for personal gain or business purposes and not for use by customers who bought it from you. If this is the case, then you may be able to get away with paying less than usual. The active malfunction is the most common type of product insurance claim.
It's also when a customer uses a product, but it's not working properly or performing as expected. For example, they may be unable to hear through the speakers, or they might find that the feature they were promised doesn't work at all. In this case, the insurance company will cover the cost of repair or replacement.
